1) What makes a dork "HQ"?
Ans: A high quality dork is the one that gets the most vulnerable websites and is unique (or not well known).

2) Before trying to make HQ dorks, what should I know?
Ans: It really depends. There are so many things, such as, what accounts are you going to crack (which website)? what is the niche of the website that we are going to crack? is the tool we are using to make dorks good enough that it can even make HQ dorks? is our dorks method even good anymore? (it may work before, but not anymore). Etc.

3) How do I make HQ dorks?
Ans: This is a tricky question and if I give a very specific answer (specific tool, method, etc.), it may stop working in some time. I would honestly say, first learn a lot about dorks (as the Original poster said, he has read too many guides and tutorials). Afterward, you would probably know several methods to get dorks' keywords and from that, you can use a HQ tool (paid or free, usually paid ones are far better) to make dorks from the keywords. From dorks, you can use a tool that makes use of search engines and tries to find vulnerable websites from the dorks.

4) How do I make HQ dorks faster & in larger quantities?
Ans: The only way to make HQ dorks faster is, having insane internet speed (consider using RDP or VPS) and having a very good tool that makes dorks extremely fast. That's pretty much it. You can't do anything else to make dorks faster. As for in larger quantities, you would either need a lot of good dorks (like a lot) or a few high quality dorks (very rare) that can get a lot of websites. You also need to wait a little bit more if you want in larger quantities.
