In the beginning of August 2022, gameplay footage of CS:GO Source 2 could be found on YouTube, but it didn't come from Valve themselves. Will it really come out? Also how would it really affect the game?

I'm pretty sure it's confirmed by VALVE to release some time. All it pretty much gonna do is improve the graphics & overall performance

Well I am happy to hear about the graphics but at the same time quite disappointed because that means it would require a better PC and a good graphics card which I believe most people won't have.

CS doesn't require much anyways, so I don't think most ppl will have to upgrade and can run it just fine
