Valve had a breach, I'm posting information so you will have more info about Valve security breach.

message 1:

Possible RCE exploit There's new RCE (remote code execution) exploit on TF2 (found by cathook), there's a possibility it exists in CS:GO aswell. Play CS:GO on your own caution. If the exploit on CS:GO gets confirmed CTHook servers will be closed down until fix is published. One more time: PLAYING TF2 AND CSGO IS NOT RECOMMENDED AS OF NOW, PROCEED WITH CAUTION For anyone wondering what it can do: it can basically run any code on your machine (viruses, etc..).

 message 2:

if you're a PC player for either Team Fortress 2 or Counter Strike: Global Offensive, DO NOT JOIN ANY ONLINE SERVERS. DO NOT PLAY ANY PUBLIC SERVERS FOR EITHER GAME. A Remote Execution exploit was found in Source allowing MALICIOUS CODE TO BE EXECUTED ON CLIENT SIDE GAMES thanks to today's Source Code Leak. DO NOT JOIN ANY VALVE PUBLIC SERVERS UNTIL VALVE NOTIFIES US IT IS FIXED

Info about the breach

Backstory:

So a quick rundown of HOW this happened: Apparently this source code was already public on the internet, although it was not well known at all. Lever Softworks was a group of source modders led by Valve News Network (Tyler McVicker). They worked on a bunch of source stuff and had a few leaked stuff - including the TF2 source code. *they were not the ones who leaked it. Long story short, there was one person who was transgender and this other guy/girl was kind of a transphobic dick. Lever/Tyler kicked him/her out of the team, and the person leaked everything they had in retaliation, probably. So now a bunch of people know about it. Some reports are saying that there already are Remote Code Execution vulnerabilities for TF2. I can confirm that Creators.TF is temporarily shut down at the moment. There are no assets in the leaked source code, only the code itself

if you find out anything else please let me know and I'll update the post.

The leaked is code from 2017 therefore most being invalid in cs cant say the same for tf2 as the updates have been tiny.

Valorant will get an increase of playerbase because of this....
