If you use a new venmo with what I believe this method is, for 2-3 days you can add credit up to a few hundred and it will charge venmo but not the bank linked to it (use a virtual one.)  once the venmo gets locked, the uber acc may not let you add any other payment method but the venmo will still be linked even though it no longer works and you can use all the credits up
