Moving from Vim to VSCode... it hurts.

I have been using Vim for nearly 4 years now, but I am moving to VSCode. Vim is old, a lot of stuff I need isn't supported. I'll miss you, Vim. 

does anyone have tips for vscode? i am not used to so many options and bloatware

i dont know what u code in but i heard their is something called like VsCodium
which is like a open source version of vscode and i think their isnt bloat?

i know their is something called LiteXl which is written in lua and c if i remember correctly
Lua is used to write the plugins so u prob gonna have to make your own plugins besides like basic syntax higlightings that have been made
