Well to grow as online personality you just have to be that, a personality.
If you are either funny, interesting, well spoken, charismatic, cute or damn good at certain games, chances are you wont have a problem growing a community.

Just ask yourself, would you follow a dull person every day ?
Or would you rather watch someone funny or entertaining ?

Think about it and see if you can be that someone that people want to watch.

Reason people watch Shroud is because hes damn good at his games, Dr Disrespect has great production and is well spoken plus entertaining, most girl streamers are just cute and kids want their nudes, someone like xQc has outburst every now and then and is intelligent/smart.

Compare yourself to them and see if you are worthy of having 1000 people follow you.

You can have awful banner or profile pic or graphics on stream but if YOU are likable, you will get followers.
Tyler1 had AWFUL microphone(probably still has) and often makes your EARS BLEED when he screams and people still follow him.
