OVERHIT by Nexon mobile gacha game soft launch was a horrible move

as title says Overhit is a new mobile gacha game launched on 30 april by Nexon which had to be global release but somehow they launched only in Canada and USA, leaving tons of European people angry and unsatisfied about the game and the Nexon promises of launching the game ''soon'' in europe.
What do you think about this? it was a stupid move by a big company like this to softlaunch in 2019 or this is still the best way to launch a game?

I mean, soft-launch happens to upcoming mobile games, as it's used to give the players early-impression to the game before it fully launched (At least that's what I think). Either way, also kinda wish the game would release in all countries, but eh, could try to create new account on those specific country to play it.
