Players often try to compare, classify and characterise different mmos, and even try to characterise tthem as mmorpgs or not mmorpgs. I am not a scientist, but maybe it is possible to use a philosophy similiar to how scientists classify species and genus of various lifeforms on Earth, as a way to characterise these games.
So- for example, if we were to pick ESO, how would you describe its key qualities, and then pick out the mmos closest to its key qualities, which we can say form a sort of species closest to ESO.Speed Test essay writer
Which is your favourite mmo, what are its key qualities, and which are its closest comparative games, and why?

Interesting,

The name itself contains what you need. A MMO can simply be a hack and slash thing. Level up, pump up attributes/skills, keep hacking and slashing everything.

A MMORPG has a lot of story and allows you to play you style. You can simply be a crafter that likes commerce, and that's OK.

The difference is mainly the range of play styles and freedom of character customization (skills, attributes, etc)
