Mission: Impossible - Fallout, SO GOOD, I can't stress this more this is actually a high-quality movie featuring Tom Cruz. most of the movie is set in Paris which is very beautiful, personally I have been to Paris many times and seeing this movie brings chills. Also, the action is thrilling especially the helicopter chase.

NE-thing by Kubrick is a good start. 
Personally Love FMJ. But if you're not into war films I wouldn't recommend delving straight into a 2 hour flick.
