You just need to create another portfolio in Shrimpy and move only 1k to it.

On the main dashboard of Shrimpy, select "Manage Portfolios" and then "Create Portfolio" and then if you click on one of the portfolios in the list it will allow you to transfer a specific amount of money and of which coin to a different portfolio. If you dont want the selling to be done on a portfolio then just dont follow anyone with it.
