purple ink, working really ?

Do you know if the purple ink used for LIT is really working ? because it color is purple and not black.

People recommend to drop it at relay points (drop points) instead of carriers points

Anyway I have only relay points close to my home but is it really working ? that's a pity it doesn't exist in black color.  Do you think that in this method, we should put something in the box for the weight or just a bubble envelope empty it's ok ?

where do you buy ink for printer ? I know only "blue..." enterprise which sells from USA but I'm in Europe. I wanted to made it by myself but it seems to be a little complicated with special ingredients that I couldn't get it. Maybe it's better to try the dry ice method
