Minecraft is getting Raytracing. What are your thoughts

Wasn't it Nvidia and only them that made raytracing for minecraft ? Or did mojang worked on it ? Cause if so, they are just dumb to do that while their game cannot stand a 20+ ppl server in 1.14.4

i think any game getting ray tracing or any sort of graphic update is nice. but minecraft has other things it could update and improve. i dont think a game that gets very small updates and hasnt changed a whole lot in the past 10 years should not have as many bugs and glitches minecraft has.

Yeah you're not wrong about that, Im pretty pissed they didn't actually add that 4k pack.

Okay Im going to be honest Im only really posting this because I dont have any posts on this account. I think Minecraft's raytracing is awesome although I think it couldve have gotten similar features long ago, alongside with more content. The game's been stuck with the same Cave biomes for about 9 years. They try mimicking Terraria but it still feels mediocre.

I think it'll be great. Im curious to see what direction minecraft will go in next
