I find it a little pricey when it is not on sale. Perhaps you should wait for a discount before buying it.Otherwise, it's a really good game. The combat is very fun and engaging, and it really gives you a sense of progression as you learn how to deal with certain monsters. Having a friend or two to accompany you in your hunts makes the game even more enjoyable too!

Been stuck at home for a while now, so I've been looking at games to play and decided to see if monster hunter is worth it for the money.

Also are there other similar titles that you can play with your friends?

I'd wait for MH rise to come out on the switch

Man, MHW is definitely THE MOVE. I got it a few weeks ago with two friends along with the Iceborne DLC and the game is astonishing from every perspective. A long story mode which I haven't completed yet, tons of dragons to beat the shit out of and basically lotta content. Defo worth each penny.

Monster Hunter: Rise is also coming on march 2021 on nintendo switch, and will soon be ported on PC around October 2021. It has tons of new stuffs and similar stuffs from MH: World. Being a MH series, but will surely be an excellent game in terms of multiplayer and teamwork with your friends.
