A lot of things people bitch about the modern gaming industry got popular on mobile. Free-to-play, microtransactions, in-game ads, loot boxes, etc. They may have started on PC, but mobile is where they gained a foothold. I'm also not big on how simplified a lot of games get so they fit everyone's touch screen rectangle.

I have been playing Azur Lane for about 1 year, and its pretty funny. There are a lot of waifus too uwu. I really recommend it .

For me, I only play mobile games that are considered as gacha, but I don't know, that's just me.

I play a lot of games on my phone, but it's hard to find good ones. Most of the games are P2W, require a metric crapton of time, or are simply boring (idle games being a primary example of that, still can't fathom how people like that shit). Still, mobile games are my guilty pleasure. I'm currently playing Horrorfield, Monolisk and Pocket Warfare actively, though I have a few more games on my phone that I play occasionally.
