This is probably fake, probably just someone that lost lots of money and wanted to not lose so he made a thread telling people to buy soon and promising massive profits if they do, just so they can sell & get more money than they would've if they sold at 35k. Quick pump n' dump, essentially another $GME

I mean the post blew up after it actually happened what he said. Its unlikely he couldve caused the dip. There was a second dip on friday too which apparently someone called on 4chan.

I think you should mention the influence from the US as well.

Nice one. Damn Elon and China. Is daily trading best practice instead of just investing and waiting?

In general? Probably not. Day trading tends to be highly unprofitable.

Chague 2019: most day traders lose money; like a casino, the longer you trade, the more likely you'll lose money: 30% of traders were profitable who only traded for 1 day; 15% of <51 days; ~7% of <301 days; and 3% of >300 days: https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?...id=3423101 https://sci-hub.st/10.2139/ssrn.3423101 https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/7...ue2019.pdf  n=19,646 Brazilians who first day traded the mini-Ibovespa future btwn 2013-15, tracked as a panel until 2017; using Brazilian SEC data (high-quality) on individual trades

In the stock market, it seems that investing & waiting is the best way to go.

Barber 2000: actively trading stocks hurts your investments: the fifth of traders who traded the most got (on average) annual net returns of 11.4%, which is ~40% smaller than the fifth who traded the least, who saw returns of 18.5% (slightly ahead of the market): https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?..._id=219228 https://sci-hub.st/10.2139/ssrn.219228 https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/7...an2000.pdf
