I use https://www.movavi.com/photo-to-dvd-slideshow/ to create slideshows from my photos. Based on my experience, i can say that it is the easiest software to create DVD slideshows.

Thank you for your links: software was easy to use. Just drag a bunch of pictures, add some music (optional), and it burns a DVD with your slide show.
