When purchasing an hosting plan you're paying upfront for a full year of service. Keep in mind that certain activities are disallowed.

When your hosting is up for renewal, you'll get an email with a new invoice for the upcoming period. All you have to do is either paying it for renewal or ignore it to get your account and data cancelled.

Current hosting plans are different in terms of disk space, but all other tech specs are common between them.
