Yup. You read that right. Brazil is charging 96% of taxes over imported products that are over $50.
For products lower than 50 dollars, they charge "only" 20%.
And the situation is even worse: they are charging taxes over taxes.
For example: If a product +shipping costs R$1000, they apply other taxes on that, going to R$1100 (JUST AN EXAMPLE), and then they charge up to 96% on that,
So basically, you pay R$2156 for a R$950 product with R$50 shipping.
Just ridiculous.
