For a month, scammers called a 75-year-old granny from Moscow under the guise of law enforcement officers. Having intimidated the granny, the scammers lured all her savings out of her, which the woman handed over to a courier who gave her "passwords." And then, having learned that the granny had a second apartment, the phone operators convinced her that it could be arrested and needed to be sold urgently.
On the instructions of the callers, the pensioner did not tell her relatives anything about saving her property. She calmly made a deal to sell the apartment, and the money she received went into crypto. 12 words were successfully sent to the scammer, who then stupidly withdrew them through exchangers to drop cards.
After talking with her relatives, the furry woman realized that she had been ripped off by scammers. The total damage amounted to 25.6 million rubles. A case was opened under Article 159. The identification of persons is under the control of the Moscow prosecutor's office.
