Lets say my router sync speed is 60 Mbps, and when I do a test on speedtest.net my download speed is 53 Mbps and it comes out lower as it should be 60 Mbps as per my broadband package. I only connected an ethernet cable to my pc without any wifi devices and it still says 53 Mbps. What normally is the fault when you get an issue like this?

Are you using a VPN? That could be the issue.

It is normal for your download speed to be around 88% of your sync speed. This can go up or down and can be based of a multitude of different variables

So isp's always give the maximum sync speed on their routers and this does not guarantee the download speed will match and you have tested this yourself on other computers?
