A 24-year-old boy from Krasnoyarsk contacted the police, saying that he met a girl on VK. Introducing himself with a fictitious name, the new companion said that she was on a business trip, but should soon return to Krasnoyarsk.

The couple talked for a month and managed to achieve a close relationship through correspondence. During this time, the girlfriend often got into unpleasant situations in which she needed money. The mammoth himself willingly believed all the scammer's tales about "lost keys to the apartment, the need to pay for the work of a repairman, the inability to buy a medicine and pay for a ticket to his hometown."

The girl promised to give the money back, but in the end she disappeared and stopped communicating. The poor guy himself transferred her more than 250 thousand rubles. Having written a statement, after a while the hope for justice disappeared. But literally a couple of days ago news came: the scammer was detained. She turned out to be a 34-year-old resident of Novosibirsk.

— During the search of her apartment, they found dozens of SIM cards, bank cards, routers and several phones. During this time, she managed to swindle four more furry guys, who gave her a total of more than 500 thousand rubles.

The girl introduced herself to the Krasnoyarsk resident as Elena Smirnova. However, the police found out that she used pages with names such as Elena Latyeva, Evelina Gess, Victoria Mironova, Margarita Rudko, Margarita Rogova, Victoria Slakova, Diana Firsova, and others.
