We aim to clarify certain rules in response to changes in our internal moderation policies, which were implemented in a manner that caused concerns among many users.

Rule#4 of general rules: "Advertising a different community/board is prohibited, doing so will result in an account termination."

We have noticed an influx of newly registered spam accounts advertising their Telegram (TG) channels. To address this, we initially applied the said rule restricting the promotion of TG channels, including those related to combos, proxies, and accounts. However, we understand that many established members use TG groups for legitimate business purposes, such as providing samples of their products on their TG/Discord.

Clarification: Real accounts are permitted to advertise their TG/Discord channels in signature spaces and content threads and we have decided to only enforce this rule towards spam accounts that solely exist to advertise TG channels and to other community websites like NTO.

Sponsored Threads:

Previously, the rules regarding sponsored threads stated: Note: A redirect link can only be added on [Your Service Name] and can only be redirected to cracked.io sales thread or your business website/storefront. No Telegram or Discord groups are allowed. If you want to link to Telegram or Discord, put those links on your cracked.io sales thread.

However, we noticed there is a lot of friction for potential customers if the user has to link their cracked sales thread first and then take them to a business discord/tg channel.

Clarification/Change: You can now link your business telegram or discord groups in sponsored threads. These groups should be dedicated to your business and should not function as communities for free drops, leaks, or general chat.
The edited rule is: Note: A redirect link can only be added on [Your Service Name] and redirected to cracked.io sales thread, your business website/storefront/ Business telegram or Discord groups.

Rule#11 of general rules: Abusing any stat system, like, reputation, or vouches system is prohibited, this includes activities such as trading or demanding likes/reputation/vouches/any stats. Doing so will result in a temporary suspension and getting your likes wiped.

Since the forum's inception, users have been able to request likes for their threads (this is standard practice among the majority of social platforms). However, we've noticed some users abusing this policy by threatening or baiting for likes. So we changed internal moderation guidelines and asked the staff members to give warning points to such users, this initially confused a lot of users who thought they were being targeted by staff members as they were doing it for years.

Clarification:

It is important to clarify that demanding likes through threats or misleading users is considered stat abuse and is not allowed. Examples of misleading users or threatening users for likes:
  •     Leave a like or get banned
  •     Leave like or get reported
  •     Leave a like to unlock hidden content
Please note that threats or misleading users are not limited to the examples given above.

However, you can still request likes by using sentences such as:
  •     Please click the like button
  •     By demonstrating how to like through a GIF.

We acknowledge that changing internal moderation guidelines to enforce rules in a certain way is not appropriate or transparent. Therefore, as of this date, any major changes in guidelines to enforce rules will be announced so that users can give their opinion or adapt.
