Why not auto detect Referrals ?
Example: someone find your thread via google, he register to cracked.io
But like every people he don't ref you

Why not check
Via google analytics the origin of referrals. This could be possible to see if there's a ref with the origin page

i don't think that can be claimed as a reason for everyone that's registering
there's lots of other forums way older/bigger than cio that don't do this
mainly because it's the person's choice if they want to pick you as the person who reffered them, same goes for any refferal program anywhere
you can't force that onto new comers

Super good idea and at the end of the month maybe even a staff member could draw a winner for the member with the most referrals that month or something haha

This was implemented before after I had suggested it but removed again because of users being able to farm refs with spam shit (Same reason why likes are disabled in porn category).

This should be closed.
