I've recently been looking for short "problems" or questions involving board game strategies. I have a whiteboard in my office, and I'm trying to post some sort of question each day. Lately they have been from Game Theory, and that got me wondering why I couldn't just post situations from board games instead. Like, "given this Carcassonne layout and tile, what is your optimal move?"
I started looking online, and I had trouble finding these (Carcassonne was one of the only ones I could find, and I'm not a chess guy). Do you all know of any resources for these? Or have any good ones of your own? If not, would anyone be interested in visiting a blog that posted several of these situations a week? I'm thinking I could start one and do like MWF updates if there is enough interest. I'd take submissions, of course...
