How rough is the boat from Sorrento to Capri? I have a bad back and cant handle a lot of bouncing. I am thinking of the Mondo Rick Stevehs shared tour of Capri

The following documents must be presented to the CBP Officer at the Port of Entry in order to import a personal boat into the United States: - Proof of ownership, such as a bill of sale.- Demonstrate that the boat complies with EPA regulations. At the point of entry, Customs and Border Protection officers enforce EPA standards. It's a bit of a headache to import a boat, I prefer to take a boat rental Miami, it's much more convenient in my opinion, and also saves you a lot of time.

The boat ride from Sorrento to Capri is generally smooth, but it can be rough on windy days. If you have a bad back, consider checking the weather forecast and sea conditions on the day of your travel.

I completely agree with you—importing a boat sounds like a lot of hassle with all the documentation and regulations. Sometimes, it's definitely easier and more convenient to go for a boat rental in Miami. Not only does it save time, but you also get to enjoy the experience without any of the stress that comes with ownership. Renting can be a great option, especially if you're just looking to enjoy the water for a day or two.
