All drugs should be legalized. One problem I find with the punishment is they state the volume of the drugs makes the offense worse, but grocery stores are allowed to scale the volume of alcohol they sell and it is all legal. Alcohol is actually the drug that causes the most societal damage, mores than methamampatamine, yet prohibition in the 1920s proved to cause only more problems. Additionally, pharmaceutical companies are allowed to convince doctors to sell drugs like Ritalin and Adderall to children, which are very similar to methampahtamine in function.
