One of our SEs was putting a quote together for a client of ours who have some 200Ds that are about to go EOL. Replacements were ordered, but the Fortinet rep told our SE to tell the client not to drag their feet on the swap out, because 7 days after EOL, they would fail open xvideos .
That seems really suspicious to me. I've never heard of a FW failing open just because of EOL of the hardware. I can see "no more updates", but not "lol the Internet can see you now". Did my SE misunderstood? Was the rep misinformed?
