Do you keep likes from deleted threads?

I wanted to clean up my threads a bit and delete old/outdated ones.
Question: Do I lose the likes of threads I delete?

Recently I had a duplicate thread that was made on accident which I requested to have removed. It had one like and upon it's removal, my like count stayed the same. I believe it's possible that like recounts may occur and if such an event happens I'm not 100% sure as to whether or not your likes will be removed or not. Do not fear though, if this does end up happening, you only have permission to "soft delete" your threads/posts so when they're deleted, they're still on the forum but only staff can access or restore them.

Yes, sometimes we have a need to delete the forums, SO just open your forum/thread and click on the lock icon, and then your thread will delete.
