Hi

I’ve not got much coding or scripting experience, but I have noticed that many cracking tools flag as either malware or trojans. Is this due to how they use .NET framework or are they actually infected with backdoors for bot nets or RDP?

Thanks in advance, wanting to learn!

It can be both/either. Many virus scanners list cracking tools as malware because theyre paid off by software/media companys etc. to do that. Some cracking tools also use malware type methods to do the cracking so they flag up.

That said if someone is creating cracking software they probably also know how to make malware and if they're interested in cracking probably wouldn't mind adding you to their botnet too...

Basically sandbox everything like that in a VM. PM me if you need help.
