I decided randomly to try to see what the most I could do with just an email adress.
Becasue I'm jokes I chose [email protected]
I didn't choose a major platform like gmail or hotmail becasue their security takes a long time to get around.
The first thing I did was run a brute force attack on the email account and found after only about 2 hours that the password was "mynameisjeff". I proabably could have guessed that.
What we know:
Email: [email protected]:mynameisjeff
I logged into the email.
I then went to snapchat and requested a password reset. I changed the password and then requested a full data list of the person from snapchat.
What we know:
Email: [email protected]:mynameisjeff
Snapchat: bestnuts:Arapiki52
IP: 80.6.205.251
Country: GB
Location Just Outisde Charring Cross Station, UK
Lat/Long: 51.5085, -0.1257
Age: 25 - 34
As you can see. it is quite easy to get a lot of someones data from just an email.
