Google Chrome difficulty opening :(

Not to sound like a complete noob, but I have win10 and I've been having a problem with Chrome not being able to open up sometimes and I have to use Chromium (idk where this came from and I feel like it's the problem like a virus or such because I can't even uninstall it) to reinstall Chrome just so that I can reopen it. I've searched online a few times to look at fixes, but I'm not sure what it is. I check task manager to check if Chrome is running, but it's not there. Sorry if I sound pretty stupid, just sorta needa some guidance, not sure where the problem lies. Did I download a virus or some shit because this bothers the shit outta me.

I'd personally just manually delete it, use something like ccleaner to clean up the registry and reinstall. Unless you can't manually delete it either, while it's not running. Then something isn't right for sure.
