[HELP] opening iso files with a VM

A few days ago I posted about how Im looking to learn cracking and how I was having troubles with ISO files, I was told that I had to access them with a VM but I cant figure out exactly how to open them with virtual box. Thank you for your time and thank you for your help!

eww, you want to enter this "world" and you dont even know how to make a virtual machine? thats eww
Also, i recommend installing linux on a real desktop. Use old hardware from home or a old laptop, for starting you can use ubuntu, debian... but you will find more facility with manjaro.
After a long time learning you can move to arch.
I suggest on a real hardware beacause you will need to find some solutions to common errors on a real enviorment, like wifi drivers if you use wifi card and so much things.
