Hello everyone,

Just wondering, I'm not interested into doing that, I do not have any stolen / found iPhone that is iCloud blocked, but I'm wondering how it works because I'm curious.

So far this is what I've gathered :

- You can unlock iPhones if you have the receipt, at Apple Stores or to other [partner?] stores, but they will refuse without the receipt
- Without the receipt they can't do it and you have to look at grey market / services and it's more expensive

- People offering unlocking services have prices depending on the model (iPhone 7, 8, X, ..., also applies to iPad like Air 3, Air 4, Pro, ...)
- People offering unlocking services do not talk about iOS version, but I think it's more important than the model especially if there is a flaw in iOS
- Some unlocks are temp and if you update your iOS then the device is blocked again (so I guess that these unlocks are Jailbreak based ?)
- Some unlocks are lifetime but costs way more

I guess that for temp unlock they jailbreak the device.
I guess that for lifetime unlock they have contacts at Apple that are able to unlock the device.

I've also heard about some tools such as 4MeKey but don't know if it really works and if it's temp or lifetime unlock.
I've heard about online services but don't know if it's a scam or not, and if it's temp or lifetime unlock.

I took a look on the forum, there are only few threads talking about this, two of them that seem to work use the same website (I'll not share the link because I don't know if it would be against the rules, taking the link from another thread to post here).
From this website, iCloud bypass can work only up to iPhone X.

If you have aditionnal information, if something above is wrong, feel free to let me know.

Thanks for reading, have a nice !
