How do you even earn money off cracking?

So, I have a few questions that have been unanswered for years (since I first cracked some accounts in 2014).
I know these are basic questions but for a beginner some of these don't make much sense off the bat.

First of all, how do you obtain combolists for cracking? I suppose you could buy them off here, but is it worth using the free ones?
And, when I find an account that's a hit, I suppose can sell it (bulk ofc).. But, can somebody else change the password? Better yet, could I do it?

You can use free ones if you wanna post them in leaks for likes but I wouldn't recommend selling them.
If someone else has your combo and their checking the same thing as you meaning 2 sellers selling the same logs. Don't do anything to the account.
