How to keep access to a telegram account created with a burning number online?

I'm planning to buy a cheap burning number to receive the telegram 2fa sms, then lock the telegram account with a password. I'd like to use telegram in a tor virtual machine, not in a phisical phone. The problem is how often telegram will ask again the sms to login. Using telegram for shady affairs in a phisical phone (even with tor) is not good, the phone is connected to a cell so the number is geo-traceable.
