This method works on both iPhones and Android from what I have seen, this method is still working up to this date and I can confirm because I use it myself You will need an app (found on the app store/play store) called Prequel
The method is simple:
The method is simple:
- Open Snapchat and the Prequel app
- Go to Prequel and click the + symbol to add an image in from your camera roll
- Make sure the image is the portrait length of the screen (if its not then import your image into Snapchat asif you were just sending a normal camera roll image, hold down and hit 'edit' this will then turn the image into the full portrait ratio, re-save the image and then head back to Prequel
- Once you are happy with the image you have loaded in Prequel click 'finish' and then 'share' and select the Snapchat icon, this will load the image into Snapchat as a live image as if you just took it right there and then using Snapchat itself
- Send the image to a user or to your story, both work
