Image uploading

I feel like a pleb but really need assistance. I've searched everywhere possible for an example. I cannot figure out how to upload a image on a thread. Is there a specific image hosting site to use? I've tried a few and my image never loads in the thread. What could I be doing wrong?

Go to an image hosting site (you can use https://imgbb.com/ for example) and upload your picture(s)
Right click on the uploaded picture and click on "Copy image adress". The copied link should end with.jpg / .png or .gif
Now simply use the image bbcode here below. Replace your link with XXXXXXXXXXXX

Example:

i think u using direct link for image without image extension...

i guess u using this example link :-

1.) https://imgur.com/a/IfY7aNT (1)

2.) instead of this:- https://i.imgur.com/xVWHyds.png

Your image should have link like this. you can do that easily just copy image address link by right click on 1 image (example)

after doing so u will get 2). type image link that u need to post here. image will work
