Keep getting emails from new threads

I used to have notifications on for new threads in the marketplace.
I never got a notification for it. but now I turned it off yesterday and I keep getting spammed with emails when someone creates a new thread (even for old threads)
I can't seem to find out how to stop them.

Issue of email server, will get automatically fixed, although you will get spammed by c.2 for a while
