A 24-year-old resident of Schleswig-Holstein, who allegedly collaborated with Killnet, was arrested in Germany. She is accused by the authorities of the EU countries and the United States of attacks on the computer systems of countries allied with Ukraine.

Killnet conducted activities directed against NATO countries, stealing data and harming Internet resources, follows from the report. In particular, over the past two years, hackers have carried out a number of attacks on servers, as a result of which they were overloaded. The role of the 24-year-old detainee was to prepare the infrastructure for such hacks.

Investigators believe that the man advertised services in various messengers, through which hacker attacks subsequently took place. At the same time, he knowingly offered his services within the KillNET group and, thus, helped hackers to hack computer networks throughout Germany in the areas of security, infrastructure and finance, the report said.

On December 12, investigators searched the suspect's home in the federal state of Schleswig-Holstein and confiscated a number of data carriers. On their basis, the investigation will continue. On December 11, the Federal Criminal Police Office announced three detentions in Germany and France in connection with the KillNET case.

The President of the Federal Criminal Office of the State of Hesse, Andreas Rochrig, said that most of the Killnet's accomplices are in Russia, which makes it difficult to carry out operational activities. At the same time, he expressed satisfaction that, thanks to the intensive efforts of the investigators, it had been possible to identify and apprehend one of its members in Germany.
