Mass explosions of pagers belonging to members of the Lebanese Hezbollah - about 2,800 people across the country were injured, there are fatalities.

Reuters stated that Israeli intelligence services were behind this, having hacked and blown up the communication devices, which were set to self-destruct to protect the channel.

According to Lebanese media, pagers began to detonate right in the pockets of Islamists across the country, many victims lost fingers and hands.

The Iranian ambassador to Lebanon announced several dozen dead and 1,500 injured

UPD:
1. Military and strategic expert Joseph Nassar stated that a virus had been introduced into the pager software, adding that the virus overloaded the software, which led to the battery explosion.
2. Lebanese journalists accused the leaders of the American University Hospital in Beirut of knowing about the cyberattack. A few days ago, the administration ordered employees to get rid of the pagers.
3. The manufacturer of the devices that blew up Hezbollah members is the well-known Motorola: 5,000 device explosions are already known in Lebanon and Syria.
4. Motorola shares are already falling in price, but for now the source of information is the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, which is cited by the technology website Decripto.
5. Mossad planted the chemical substance PETN* in the batteries of pagers, which led to their detonation: Hezbollah members were blown up by at least three types of pagers.
And all thanks to the 20 g of PETN (Pentaerythritol tetranitrate - a powerful high explosive) planted in them. When heated, PETN decomposes with strong self-acceleration, which often leads to an explosion.
As for the types of "explosive" pagers, the media write that this is not only the Motorola LX2, but also the Teletrim, as well as the Gold Apollo Rugged Pager AR924.
