Moscow's Tagansky District Court has imposed an administrative fine of 3.5 million rubles on Mozilla Corporation, known as the developer of the Mozilla Firefox browser, for failing to fulfill its obligation to remove information prohibited by Russian law. This was reported on the official Telegram channel of Moscow's courts of general jurisdiction.
The court found Mozilla Corporation guilty of violating the requirements of Part 2 of Article 13.41 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, which regulates the obligations of website and information resource owners to remove prohibited information.
