The girl received a call allegedly from MTS and was offered to extend the contract, but to do so she had to give the code from the SMS, which was in fact the code for Gosuslugi.
Then everything was classic: the student received several calls from scammers, posing as the FSB, Gosuslugi and Rosfinmonitoring. She was convinced that she was accused of aiding terrorism.
She was offered to drop the charges if she cooperated: the girl bought a new phone, transferred all her savings to a "safe account", and together with the scammers, she picked up the code to the safe at home via video link, from which she took 3 gold bars, a watch and 100,000 euros, which she later gave to the "agents".
Then the scammers switched to the student's grandmother, from whom they wanted to extort 10 million rubles, but she recognized the scammers and did not transfer anything to them. The girl heard a familiar voice on the phone and realized that she had become a victim of fraudsters.
