I love the 1979 film "Alien" and the 1986 sequel "Aliens." A few weeks ago, I saw a doc on TV, "Memory: The Origins of Alien" from 2019. The doc itself wasn't much more than a bunch of talking heads. BUT what I discovered while watching is that H.R. Giger, who created the design for the "Alien" creature as many know, published a coffee-table book of his work in the early 1990s, "H.R. Giger's Necronomicon" with an intro by Clive Barker.
Yes, he borrowed from Lovecraft with that title LOL. But regardless, the works in the book are definitely worth seeing if you're a Giger fan and/or an "Alien" fan: https://1lib.us/book/739812/747a9e
Also, here's "Giger's Alien," which is about Giger's artwork for the film: https://1lib.us/book/2293812/f50d77
