I definitely enjoy zombie movies. Train to busan is an easy favorite along with Shaun of the Dead.

Loved "Train to Busan."  Have you seen the sequel yet?  Also really good, but somewhat too long.

I only watched the first half so far. I forget the movie #alive was decent as well.

I watch a truckload of horrors throughout the year but around Halloween I tend to rewatch my favourites, which are...

Trick R Treat
The Descent
The Thing
Grave Encounters
Hell House LLC
Creep 1 and 2
Tucker and Dale vs Evil (I know it's more comedy but it's too good to not mention)

Any recommendations for good horrors released this year?

Give "The Owners" a try.  It stars Maisie Williams.  It's not well reviewed, but I personally thought it got a bad shake.  It really has a few surprises.  Also, there was "Sputnik," a Russian horror film that I really enjoyed. The first five films on your list are five of my personal favourites, so maybe our taste is similar in this and you'll like those too.
