New User/Noob here looking to start the new year off right. I'm looking to brush up on my Unix/Linux, programming and command line skills, so if anyone can point me towards some good material whether is be books or websites be much appreciated. Also I'm looking for some websites that do daily coding challenges because I really need the practice for my programming classes for later in the year.

Definitely a good way to start the new year. I did a google search on "learn unix/linux" and I found a couple links: one from TutorialsPoint, and the top result at Guru99. Plus, a lot of people make youtube videos on this; all you have to do is just search.

Additionally, consider downloading Arch Linux. You will be using the CLI a lot with this distro. If you don't want to commit to using Arch, consider using a VM to run it so you can play around. As an added bonus, if you get familiar with arch, you can use the cliche catchphrase "btw i use arch"  kek
