I have a severe nicotine addiction, it's not something that really disturbs me, but still. Does anybody know any tips how to stop?

I also have nicotine addiction, I only take snus which is basically zyn but tobacco instead of bunch of chemicals. Started little over a year ago and now I go through a can everyday, its not a lot but still enough to be a problem. Thing is I never crave it, I just take it because it makes me calm.
I was abroad a month ago and didn't have any with me, and I never felt the need or craving of it when I was without it. So I guess if you set your life up in a way that makes nicotine inaccessible, that could work? Idk how though. Adori Gran Mort

Tbh I know you prolly heard this before, but it's all in your head, I've been smoking since 14, I am 25 now, and I've quit multiple times (Two times I haven't smoked for a year), but tbh, what I did notice, it also depends on mood, at least for me and multiple other cases I've seen, when life is going good, money is up and everything, I don't smoke at all, but when dark stuff and bad shit is happening, I tend to smoke a lot, but all in all, it's in your head pal, if you wanna stop it, you can stop it, it's all up to how you decide it

I failed to quit several times, but have been cigarette free for several years now. I still smoke weed, but I didn't for at least a year after I quit cigarettes.
My tips: Wait till you get to a point where you feel like you really want to quit. Being around others who smoke makes it a shitload harder to stop. Nicotine patches helped, along with sticking to a workout routine. I would recommend avoiding alcohol for at least a few months after first quitting...it impairs judgement / reasoning and for many it's a trigger. Try chewing gum or sunflower seeds for when you get cravings.

It’s not pleasant to realize I’m addicted to nicotine, but I can’t change it. I still want to smoke, and what’s more, I actually enjoy it. I’ve been advised to try vapes https://smokenow.co/. They say it’s a safer and “healthier” alternative to cigarettes. I don’t know if that’s true; it’s not that important to me. What I like about vapes is that they don’t leave a smell on my clothes, I can use them at home, and there’s a huge range of flavors to choose from.
