Who doesn't need a laugh these days, am I right?
The original radio broadcasts of "The Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy" from 1978, which precede the books, are on Internet Archive.
The first two so-called "Phases" are the ones that come prior to the books. They're known as "Primary" and "Secondary." Each one has six episodes and each episode is called a "Fit." This is the first one: Primary Phase - "Fit the First."
There are other Phases that are based on the books. Those Phases and other content are also on the link to "Fit the First."
