PNG / JPG Exploit - Remove .exe from Discord link preview.

hi..
as some of you may have read i recently was hacked (metamask) and they stole $30000.
i'm in touch with the hackers on discord and am trying to send them an exe bound to a png/jpg..
however, when i spoof the file extension, it still shows up as .png.exe or .jpg.exe..
does anyone know a workaround here? they wont click links so i need them to download a "photo" from discord.

As far as I know, even if you spoof an .exe into an image and upload it to their discord chat, they need to manually run the file in order to get infected; They won't get infected simply by viewing the image on discord -- So if you're saying they won't click on any links, idk if your method would work

no no - i obviously know they will have to run the file. the file appears as a PNG / JPG when downloaded so it wont be a prolem for them to open it there.
i just need the preview on discord to not show that it's an exe.

Try doing a Right to left override -- the file would actually be named picture.exe.png instead of picture.png.exe


If you don't know how to do that, look it up
