Village is a pretty cool game.
It fixes the weakest parts of RE7 (enemy variety, visual hiccups, lackluster final boss, no true Mercenaries mode) and makes for the overall stronger horror experience between the two games.
The only big thing I wished Village handled better was item management, because it's kinda inconsequential in the long-term, especially compared to how RE4 (the game Village borrows a lot from) handled item management pretty much perfectly.

Just got around to finishing this one and im glad it's an improvement over RE7. There are some real solid moments I feel will stick with me for a while with this one
