I purchased a thread design in early June from Evolot Discord server, with a delivery time of 48 hours.
Days passed and he failed to deliver, so he promised to send an animated version for free.
This, too, was never delivered.
He then claimed that he had finished the design but never sent it, with messages suggesting he hadn't actually completed any design, like ("Imgur?" "you want me to send it over here or cracked?") it's evident that he didn't finish any design, and it happened to more people by what I saw in other scam reports now.
Several more days passed without the arrival of the 'finished' design. During this time, his Discord server was banned. I reached out to him via Telegram, and he asked me to resubmit the design request. It was clear to me that he hadn't begun the work, even though he said it was already finished, so I say I will not send the design request again since the design is already done, all he needed to do was send it. Getting more of those almost funny "Imgur/Imgdb?", and I get the thread design 3 days later.
The design I received bore no resemblance to my original request. It seemed hastily thrown together, rushed, looked poor in quality, and seemed to be based solely on my website, completely ignoring my specified requirements. And the lack of quality was stark in comparison to the impressive works showcased in his portfolio.
Despite being repeatedly lied to, I decided to give him another chance. I pointed out the issues with the design and expressed my willingness to pay an extra $20 for improvements (which I didn't need to). We agreed on a new delivery period of 3-4 days.
From June 20th, I waited over a month for the thread design to be corrected. This period was filled with empty promises and lies, evident in the screenshots I have kept as proof.
Meanwhile this, he rebranded his business and boasted about his improved delivery times on Telegram. And I continue to get more of those promises: "If I don't deliver today I will refund you".
About a week ago, he promised a $20 refund and a delivery of the design. Given the extensive delay and the continual deception, I demanded a full refund instead, as I no longer needed the design (which should've taken only 3-4 days).
So we agreed on that, but whit a condition: if he failed to deliver within the next five days, he would refund me fully and deliver the design anyway. (so he has pressure and actually delivers the design, at least that's what I tough)
Seven days later, still no design arrived. Frustrated, I threatened to file a scam report if he didn't process a refund. His response was to claim ignorance about the agreed full refund amount and refund only $20 instead.
In my opinion, this man is a pathological liar. It's unfortunate to see such talent being wasted.
I don't even want the design + refund. that was agreed upon, I just want the refund.
He can't even refund 30$ after all this bullshit.
This entire process has been an unprecedented waste of time.
